It is not recommended to drink completely demineralized water permanently. That's why we supply the Home One with a mineral filter as standard, which re-adds important minerals to the water. Alternatively, the device can also be operated with the MN filter, which does not mineralize - for all those who want to mineralize themselves or use pure osmosis water.

Yes, many water filters can be a breeding ground for germs if improperly designed or lacking hygiene. That's why the Home One is equipped with two UV-C lamps that treat the water before and after filtration. This significantly reduces the risk of contamination, even with long-term use.
The RO membrane should be replaced at least every 16 months. The pre-filter (CF) and the post-filter (mineral or MN filter) should be replaced at least every 12 months. Most of our customers replace their filters about once a year, incurring annual filter costs of around €90.
Compared to bottled water, the Home One is significantly cheaper in the long run. While bottled water often costs around €0.70 per liter or more depending on the brand, a liter from the Home One, including purchase and filter replacement, costs about €0.15. In addition, there's no more carrying heavy crates, and water from plastic bottles can contain microplastics if stored for a long time.
Compared to pitcher filters, the filtration is significantly more comprehensive. This allows for the reduction of substances that a classic pitcher filter often doesn't reliably retain.
Yes. Instead of the mineral filter, the Home One can also be used with the included MN filter. This does not mineralize the water and is suitable for anyone who wants to mineralize themselves or drink pure osmosis water.
